NY Cigar Club Community Guidelines

I. Purpose and Mission

-NY Cigar Club (NYCC) is a private, member-based social club founded to unite like-minded individuals through curated experiences centered around the appreciation of premium cigars, camaraderie and lifestyle culture.

-The club organizes events, outings, and gatherings to promote social engagement, community-building, and shared interests.

II. Membership Guidelines

-Membership is open to individuals 21 years of age or older who support the values and mission of NYCC.

-Members agree to abide by these bylaws and rules at all times.

-Membership may be revoked at any time for conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of these rules, at the sole discretion of club leadership.

-Members may bring guests to events unless otherwise specified.  Guests must also follow all rules and policies.

III. Code Of Conduct

To maintain a respectful, enjoyable environment, all members and guests must:

-Treat fellow members and guests with curtesy and respect.

-Refrain from aggressive, discriminatory, offensive, or disruptive behavior of any kind.

-Not engage in illegal activities at any club-sponsored gathering.

-Adhere to venue-specific rules, smoking regulations, dress codes, and laws where events are held.

-Respect the privacy and property of others.

-Practice good cigar etiquette:  Be mindful of smoke direction, avoid relighting spent cigars in social settings, and dispose of cigars properly.

IV. Events and Participation

-Participation in NYCC events is a privilege of membership.  Members are encouraged to actively participate in gatherings and support club-hosted opportunities.

-Some events may be restricted in size or by invitation only.

-Event details, pricing, and registration processes will be provided in advance through official NYCC communication channels.

V. Payment & Dues

-Membership dues are billed on a recurring basis (monthly/yearly), whichever specified on the website

-If payment is unable to be processed, termination of membership will be imposed

-For events with associated costs, NYCC accepts payments via, Credit Card, Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay

-Membership dues and event fees "where applicable" are non-refundable unless otherwise specified by club leadership.

VI. Media & Promotion 

-Members acknowledge and agree that photos or videos taken during NYCC events may be used for promotional purposes by NY Cigar Club unless a written request for privacy is submitted.

-Members may not use the NYCC name, logo, or branding for commercial purposes or endorsements without written consent from the founder.

VII. Liability & Acknowledgment of Risk

By becoming a member of NY Cigar Club and participating in any club-organized event, you agree to the following:

-NY Cigar Club and/or its founder, affiliates, representatives, partners, and event sponsors shall not be held liable or responsible for any injuries, property damage, loss, personal offense, insult, emotional distress, or other incidents of any kind that may occur before, during, or after any event, gathering, or experience organized by the club.

-NYCC is a social organization that hosts events for its members and guests.  We cannot reasonably control the speech, behavior, or actions of all attendees at all times.

-By attending any NYCC event or activity, you accept full responsibility for your own conduct and agree to release NY Cigar Club and its founder from any legal claims or liability.

-If you disagree with this policy, you should refrain from attending NYCC events or accepting membership.

VIII. Amendments and Updates

-These bylaws and rules may be amended by NYCC leadership at any time.  Members will be notified of material changes via email or official NYCC channels.

-If is the responsibility of each member to review updated terms and remain in compliance.
